Rosemary – Day 2

Here’s where the kids spent a ton of time – watching Nemo.  Conlee has become obsessed.  We watched it on the way down to get them excited about the ocean.  She’s officially obsessed and asks to watch Nemo 100 times a day!

The wonderful thing about Babe and Pops – homemade breakfasts every morning!  Bo and I went for a run to check out the place and came back to some good eats!

We quickly established a routine – run, breakfast, beach, nap, beach, pool, dinner.  I wouldn’t change a thing.

The other perk of having Babe & Pops – nap times on the beach – adults only!  I could never say thank you enough to them for allowing us to stay on the beach while they covered naps.  The best 2 hours of relaxation – ever!

After nap – the kids return and more sand castle building ensued.

Here’s what we looked like heading to-and-from the beach.  Thank goodness we had the jogging stroller.

Here’s a pic of the town as we walked to the pool.  It looks like some place in Europe!

There are 4 different pools – all are amazing!

Fried fish tacos were on the dinner menu.  Super good.

Rosemary – the town

The pics below will not do it justice – but I had to share some of the amazing architecture of the town.  It’s magical here.  You want to get out and walk around.  There are shops, houses, games to play – something at all times.  You might not have an ocean view from your house – but the view of the families and atmosphere is amazing!

Welcome to Rosemary

Rosemary Beach 2010 001

Just in case you didn’t think I brought enough stuff…this was the car – literally packed to the hilt!

After a super-easy 4 hours – we’d made it – we were in Rosemary!

The kids were so excited to check out the house. The bunk room was awesome. Yes, those are flat screen tvs at the end of each bunk!

The decor was very Pottery Barn, beach-style – my fav!

We changed clothes and booked it to the beach. This was our first time at Rosemary – we normally hit Orange Beach where you have condos right on the beach. At first it was strange having to walk to the beach. But, it was only a 2 minute walk and by day 2 we were hooked. Not sure I’ll ever go any where else again – it’s that special!

Before we got all sandy and missed the chance – I tried hard to get one good family shot. The kids however weren’t having it! Oh well, I was ready to play too!
