Despite me not being back to 100% (was home from work sick yesterday) – we had promised to take the kids to the fair and take the kids to the fair we did. We were there at 5:20!
First requested stop – the animal barns.
Con cracked me up, “This stinky Mommy!” No joke – I HATE it. I already don’t eat red meat. Make me walk through here and vegan could be next
Con was so excited to see the bunnies – she bounced all of the way there.
Con’s favorite thing of all – the merry-go-round.
The kids cracked up when Bo jumped on for a ride.
Crawford’s favorite ride – the dragon roller coaster. Conlee loved it to. Hands in the air!
Bo is NOT a fan of rotating rides – so I was up on the teacups. Love them!
Waiting to ride the caterpillar roller coaster! That is until Con heard the sounds it made. She was out; Crawford and I were on. Good thing – would have cost $16 for the 4 of us! This place is a racket!
Love Crawford’s face in the pic below. He loves a good coaster.
Next up…the Flintstone Cars! The ONLY ride we didn’t have to ride with them!
Apparently everyone had the same idea. We saw the Parker’s, the Garton’s the Kestner’s (both Chris and Troy). Here’s a fam pic of the Parker’s.
Cotton candy and lemonade BEFORE dinner. Gotta love the fair!
Crawford got rooked in by the baseball Carney.
All Conlee wanted to do was go to the bouncy houses. Man – I could have just taken her to Boingo Bounce
She ruled the roost of the little bounce house. Of course – the other kids are all 2 and she’s almost 3 – but she’s their size!
The man at the “water gun” game – has a mic and doesn’t take tickets – cash only. Did I mention this is a racket?
Kestner got taken too!
Amazing – our 3 kids “tied.” At least we all got a stuffed animal out of the deal (like we needed more of those!).
We convinced the kids it was din time – and they mowed down a greasy cheeseburger. It was 7:30 and definitely time to go – but the kids found the petting zoo!
OMG – a baby kitten. Con’s obsessed and I HATE cats!
Seriously – this was super cool. We watched baby chicks hatch from eggs!
Then we HAD to “drive” the John Deere’s!
Then Con (who obviously rules her parent’s too!) insisted on 1 more spin on the merry-go-round! We had the tickets – and there was no point in wasting them (because we won’t be back till next year)! I will say – it is a much more magical place at night with the lights on!
We took $100 in and left with $5. But we had a great night at the fair! Before I know it – the kids won’t want me to ride rides and hang out with them! Cherishing each moment!
