After the amazing breakfast from yesterday, Crawford proclaimed that he wanted something super yummy this morning. Not to be a mom who disappoints – we had butterfly cinnamon toast!

Homemade French Toast Sticks
I’m still feeling kinda crummy (can’t shake this cough and stuffy nose) – so we skipped the gym and I treated the kid to one of my all time favorite breakfast treats – homemade french toast (sticks as requested by the kids). Crawford loved helping (he’s really getting to be pretty handy in the kitchen!).
Of course what 3 1/2 year old wouldn’t love dunking the sticks in the batter :)
Look at the delight on his face – yes – making a mess is his all time FAVORITE past time.
Why- oh why- haven’t I made these in a while (well the oil, butter, sugar…) – but man they are the best. I did extra pieces and will freeze those to break out on a school day for a surprise!

Monday, it’s soccer – right?
I missed soccer last week – but the highlight reel was, “Mom I saw an airplane and the ice cream man!” Crawford was much more focused. He ran every play and was in the middle of all of the action.
Love the pics of the team huddled around Coach Max!
We apparently have started a trend. A few weeks ago – Con sported my glasses. Tonight it was Trenton’s Spiderman glasses. I honestly didn’t know if we’d get them off of her.
I’m glad to say that Crawford loves it – and I do to. It’s so fun to talk to the other parents. First game we were all out trying to help our kids – now we are on the sidelines chatting it up :)

Go Hogs, Beat Bama
So, while the game might not have ended the way we all wanted it to – it was still a BLAST. The boys were up at 5:50 am giggling with flashlights. Thankfully I held them off until 7 before we were officially up. To my surprise Bo was sick as a dog – but thank goodness he pulled it together and we partied like nothing was wrong.
Love, love, love this pic of Melanie’s and my kids. I mean really – the 2 wild things from WM have these precious, well-behaved kids. Score for us!
Framer for sure. My kids showing love.
Mel brought the kids gifts – the shirt is what Con got. Adorable. Crawford scored a Razorback football.
We were at the stadium by 10:30. What an amazing atmosphere. Again, wish the ending would have worked out – but man – that was a fun game.
No matter what ESPN says, I love me some HOGS and they were great today!

The Grace's Come to Visit
I was so excited when I got up this morning. Everyone we know is coming into town for the Alabama game! Babe came in yesterday – and we are in full-on party mode.
Conlee started early – taking off her pjs and putting on her Dora pjs. What a mess this one is!
Babe and I took the kids to the mall – I was in search of something to wear to Parkerpalooza!
Finally at 5:00 - “our cousins” arrived. Babe and Uncle Matt agreed to keep all 4 kids at our house while the parents go to Parkerpalooza. How much do you think I owe them????
The kids immediately got out every ridding toy and then the paints!
Tim’s pizza for dinner and Rick’s cookies for dinner – spoiled!
This is what they were doing when we left for the party. Anna Murphy teaching my kids how to use the iTouch or Leapster.
This was our sleeping arrangements: Garrett on trundle; Crawford in bed; Anna Murphy on blow up. Snug as bugs.
We all had so much fun at Parkerpalooza. Here are a few pics I pulled off of Erin’s FB. Love this party. Can’t wait till next year. A BIG thanks to Babe and Matt :)

Back to Reality
The kids were REALLY excited to see me this morning when I woke up! Well, it was either that – or the gifts I had in my bag. T-shirts and airplanes that make sounds – I was super mom and all “desertion” claims were forgiven :)
But, they weren’t up for 10 minutes when I realized that a trip to NW Pediatrics was in our future. Runny nose, fever and coughing – UUGGGHH. At least they decided they HAD to wear their new shirts. What precious dorks :) Good news is we were told we weren’t contagious and given some medicine to treat any possible secondary infection. Great news is we all 3 got our flu shots/mists!
Amanda was taking Cade to his milestone check – so I offered to keep Cole. Again, best mom in the world. Crawford was so excited to have his bestie wake him up from nap.
I love these boys!!!!!
I just had to post this. I was WAY behind on groceries and dinner planning – so rotisserie chicken it was. Yes – Conlee has a whole leg and she ate the whole thing. That’s gotta pack the pounds on her – right?
After Con went to bed, Crawford got to help make cookies for his cousins that are spending Friday night with us!
