Chuck E. Cheese's

On a rainy afternoon - what else do you do - but go to Chuck E. Cheese's. We met Cole, Amanda, Rachel and Julia there this afternoon. The boys had a blast.
Thank goodness for the girls. They got in the maze with the boys.
By far their most favorite game was racing cars.
Amanda and I had to "ride" with them so we could push the gas. But, neither of us were allowed to put a hand on the wheel.
Conlee loved the place. So many sounds and lights. She kept kicking her socks off because she'd get so excited.

Crawford loves any mascot. He was a big fan of Chuck E.
With his 65 tickets - the only prize Crawford wanted was a tootsie roll pop!

The boys come home

So - the boys got home about 8:45 and I had to post. Bo got "suckered' into buying a $15 Razorback bat and ball. His punishment was he only saw about 1/2 of an inning - the rest of the time he chased Crawford, and the bat and the ball around the stadium.
Forgot to mention we had an accident report from school. It said, "Crawford ate dirt." We are thinking this meant, "Crawford bit the dirt." He is such a lefty.
This is him showing me how he plays golf.
I pitched it to him and he almost took my head off. He can swing a bat and a club.
Mom isn't the best pitcher - so Dad had to take over.
He didn't want to take a bath. "More ball. PEESE."

Girls' Night

Bo took Crawford to the baseball game tonight - so Conlee and I had Girls' Night! The best ever.
We are oh so tough (for those of you who knew Crawford when he was little - she looks just like him but with bigger eyelashes).
But, we are oh so sweet. Don't you just want to pinch those cheeks?

Conlee's Baptism

We baptized Conlee this morning. It was a gorgeous day and as expected she was a doll. Our entire family was at church and Court's family joined us. After the service, we all celebrated with brunch at Ella's. It was a very special day and my little girl looked and acted like an angel.

The bonnet was a little much on such a tiny thing - but I love this pic!

I'll say it again, her eyelashes are amazing. So incredibly girly!

Are the shoes not to die for? They made the outfit!

Thank goodness Court was there, because she "broke" the rules and took lots of great shots. I'll have to post the official pic later when I can pull it off of the disk (my laptop doesn't have a place to even read a disk?!?!).

Here's what was on the screen while we were on stage.
She slept the entire time. But, when he dowsed her in water she started kicking pretty hard. I was scared her little shoe was going to fly off of the stage. Thankfully it didn't and she went right back down and staid down the rest of the service.

My side of the family.

It was gorgeous outside. As we waited for our brunch orders, we took pics and watched Crawford play.
Bo's side of the family.

Crawford wouldn't look at the camera for wanting to kiss "Conkey."

Spoiled Rotten

Bo, Crawford, Conlee and I have all officially been spoiled rotten. Babe and Pops came into town on Thursday afternoon and we've had non-stop fun ever since. The weather has been awesome.

Pops is the best babysitter! He doesn't even flinch when we ask him to keep both kids. Babe and I shopped on Friday and Saturday! It was so much fun.

Pops cooked a lot and most of our time was spent outside. Crawford and Conlee got way too many toys (thanks Babe, Pops, J-J and Sue-Sue). All in all - the only thing I can say is I love my family and love that we all have so much fun together.

Crawford loves to play football and race. Each time he yells, "Down. Set. Hutt."
Matt and Court were here the entire time. They are so good with the kids!
Crawford finally got a blower so he can, "Blow leaves like Daddy." He has spent hours with this thing. He loves all things yard related. Let's hope when he's 12 he still loves it!
Conlee got a cell phone and she squeal out loud at it. What a milestone.
Another milestone is she started veggies. Here's what she thought of peas! HA!

Really she loved them. She's little, but she loves to eat.

Of course, there was LOTS of golf. Not to brag, but Crawfod is really good. He makes contact every time and can send it flying across the yard. He even does the Tiger fist pump when he hits a good shot.

I am sure our neighbors loved the gazillion games of t-ball we played. Crawford can also knock a baseball - but we still need to work on tagging people out. He drops the ball and tackles people!
Did I mention we got spoiled? Babe & Pops got him a 4-wheeler like Cole's. The battery had to charge so he didn't get to ride it until the next morning. He went crazy. Rides it all over the place. It's small enough that he can stear it and drive it anywhere. We even had to take it to Cole's house tonight when we went for a visit. So wishing I had my camera to get a pic of the boys both riding their 4-wheelers.

Still not sure where his pj top went?

The weather was so great, Conlee got to break out her adorable dresses. We went and got tons of fabric for Babe to make her some pillowcase dresses. Can't wait to see how they turn out. Having a girl is so much fun!
Conlee loved her new shoes.
It was a special weekend - so no rules applied. No better way to break the rules than a nap on the couch with Daddy.

I'd been saving Crawford's bubble gun. Needless to say - it was a huge hit. 3 bubble re-fills later - he was still asking for more.
Can you see the bubbles?

Pops fried catfish, hushpuppies and french fries with onions. It was sinfully delicious!

Did you catch that Crawford liked yard work? Sue-Sue got him a weedeater. He's literally in heaven.
