Washington Regional

The doctor calmly informed me that the ER doc had been wrong – Conlee did NOT have pneumonia.  Apparently if she’s been an adult – it would have been a near fatal case; but a kid’s lungs can have “junk.”  Instead, he was concerned about her level of discomfort and said while she had tears – her guts were dehydrated.  So a night in the hospital for an IV and possible scans is what he ordered.

Con and I went on over to get checked in.  Babe and Crawford brought Bo.  Cracked me up how Crawford wanted to take care of her.  She was ordered a liquid tray for dinner.  Here’s Babe having to feed both of them!

Who’s happy; who’s not?

We finally got her IV in and got her settled down for the night.  Thank goodness the hospital had a DVD with a Barbie movie!  You can barely see it in the pic below, but she actually smiled “cheese” for the camera.

Here’s to a joyful night of me sleeping in the hospital bed with Con while Bo is on the pull out (less than the size of a twin bed).  Praying she’s better in the morning.
