My absolute FAVORITE part of living in Fayetteville…Razorback Football. Bo and I decided to take the kids with us tonight. Trust me, we’ll hear about this the rest of the season when we deck out in red and a baby sitter shows up!
They were so excited to get on all of their gear. Love the pic below.
My Razorback crew
Love my new hog tank and cuff that Megan got me last year.
1st tailgating spot – at yes 2:00 – Clark & Addison. Jon and Pat had quite the spread (oh Amy and Amber might have helped a bit!). Can’t believe I didn’t get more pics. Great food, tons of friends – tailgating at its best! So much fun.
Con wanted to head upstairs. She told me, “No Mommies allowed up here!” So, I promptly left Emma (who is like 5) in charge – ha!
The boys played ball in the empty room downstairs!
We finally convinced them to take it outside.
At 4:30 J-J and Sue-Sue picked us up and we headed to the stadium. Check out the pic below because I took one with my phone; gave it to Crawford; who then sat it down. That’s right – I lost my phone. You have to love Razorback Nation. The nice lady (who’s son found it) called my Daddy (because yes Dad is in my phone as Daddy). Turns out they were in the outdoor club too – so phone was returned in record time!
We hit Ellis’ tailgate before entering the game. My kids loved it!
Thank you to Ellis for telling Crawford to wear the nose like a pirate would!
Then it was time to head to the stadium. I was so surprised by how into it they both were.
They took calling the Hogs as serious business.
The kids were hungry so I took them inside for hotdogs and peanut M&M’s! This is why we pay for club seats. Air-conditioning with tv’s!
We headed back outside for popcorn and to watch the game.
You’ve got to love that J-J brings “noculars” to the game!
I’m not sure that Con was with us for more than 5 minutes. She went from person-to-person putting on a show and having a blast. Note to self: we need to practice “stranger danger”!
My quest for a pic of the 4 of us…didn’t really work out so well.
At half we told them it was time to go. This is Con’s reaction…
Once again, failed at a good family pic.
The kids were mad we were leaving – but you could just tell we were pushing our luck. 2:00 till 8:30 was long for me. Did I mention it was H-O-T?
My favorite pics of the night are below!
So blessed to live in a town that truly embraces football. Here’s to many more years of season openers (winning season openers) with my family!
