So, the weathermen kind of missed the mark on this snow storm. Went to bed last night thinking that we’d get 3-5”. Nope, try 24”!!!! It literally set a record. I’ve never seen this much snow. For the second time in 2 weeks – my office is closed today! Heck, the bank is even closed.

Yes, that’s my car!

Where did my patio furniture go?

Crawford gasped when he saw what’s in the picture below, “Mom, our house sunk!”

I’m so glad that my folks didn’t wait to come into town! They got here last night. But because Conlee’s been sick since Monday – we are keeping Pops quarantined away from her.
I can’t hardly muster the courage to blog about my day yesterday. I was home with Conlee, who was puking her guts every 15 minutes, and my fake tooth broke! It’s just a chip – but I can’t handle it. So I had to bundle up a puking kid and take her with me to the dentist. Thank goodness for Dr. Lance Osborne! He had me fixed up and out of there in 30 minutes. Con didn’t even get sick…until the car ride home. That’s all I’m going to say about that as the pics of my tooth and Con’s vomit are too GROSS to post here!
Again, thankfully my parents are in town to help! Mom always brings her “fresh” groceries with her (so they don’t spoil). This trip included a fresh loaf of Texas toast. There must be a medical reason for why snowfall makes you eat! So with this much snow and the mess I’d been dealing with, I just had to whip up French Toast.

Crawford was extremely happy.

Conlee (who is still sick as a dog) not so much :(
Thank goodness Bo was home, because I needed all of the help I could get to take care of Con. Around 11:00 – I had a BAD feeling that she was getting dehydrated. Of course, my doctor is closed. When I talked to the nurse she said that we needed to take Con to the ER.
God really does work in mysterious ways because thankfully, my Mom and brother were able to get to our house in 4 wheel drive so they could watch Crawford. Bo and I were the only crazy people on the road as we headed to the hospital.
As expected, she needed IV fluids. She was NOT happy about that. After several tests (including yet another chest x-ray) the doc told us she had pneumonia! Thankfully we were able to bring her home tonight. We’re on instructions that if she vomits again, we need to bring her back to be admitted. Praying hard that that doesn’t happen.
