Kennedy and Taylor stopped by after dinner tonight while I was watering the flowers. The kids immediately decided it would be a great idea to have a water fight! I’m sure you could hear them screaming and laughing blocks away

Welcome Home!
I got in last night (well I guess technically it was this morning!) at 12:30! Funny thing was – I was so “excited” to be home – I couldn’t sleep I was up way to late to be woken up at 7:00 with 2 VERY excited kids! Don’t get me wrong – I was super jazzed to see them – but I needed just a bit more sleep. So off to watch a movie and Mommy and Daddy caught a few more zzz’s.
I woke up with Con on me – saying I made it for you Mommy. She was covered head to toe in her own “ink” work! And before you have to ask…yes it was permanent marker!
I missed these guys so much. I’ll owe Bo big time (and Uncle Matt too!). The kids missed me – but I think they enjoyed the “fun” they got to do. Chuck E’s…
Gator Golf…presents from J-J and Sue-Sue’s trip!
We spent the morning with them filling me in on everything from the week.
While I was picking up the house and unpacking – I didn’t know where the kids were. Found them in Con’s room having a jam fest. Look at DJ Con!
They really enjoyed the chocolates I brought them!
After some amazing food in NYC – I was really excited to get back in the kitchen and cook some of my own.
Baked Fontina for appetizer.
Way too bad…but way too good!
Tuna Nicoise for din.
So happy to have a great job – where I get to work with great people and visit amazing places. But even more excited to be home with my amazing family!

Oh YEAH!
I've got no idea where the kids got this from - but at any given moment in the day - they will just break out dancing and singing "Oh YEAH! Oh YEAH!" Before school this morning - I got serenaded :)

More fun in the sun
With me headed out for a week-long work trip – we skipped church and got busy around the house. First up – yard work and clean up. I convinced Crawford that he needed to have a tractor wash. Worked like a charm!
My prediction did come true. We headed back to the pool to meet the Jones’! Once again, I was amazed by Crawford swimming. Look closely below – that’s him going down the slide on his belly!
His new best buddy and him going double off the diving board.
The little girls stayed in the shallow end
Gonna be hard to leave this crew for an entire week!

Swimming– on his own!
Uncle Matt was nice enough to have us over to swim. 2 adults + 2 kids = man on man!
Surfin’ USA!
We were so excited when Brooke and Reagan joined us. So much so that she had no vest…so Crawford lost the vest. I joked that it might be my own comfort zone that keeps us in the vest. After today – I can officially say the vest is retired. He went off the diving board; down the slide; swam end-to-end – all with no vest. I was amazed.
These 3 tow-headed kiddos look like brothers & sisters!
Here’s the proof…
…and now the video!
Mrs. Brooke giving the 2 minute warning!
Gotta feeling we’ve got plans for tomorrow So proud of my big boy!

Friday–Golf and Swim
We discovered tonight what will quickly become a Friday tradition for us – golf and swim at the club.
Yes – Con insisted we bring her clubs!
You think he was happy!
Then – we got out on the course. Crawford was beside himself! I so didn’t dress Bo and Crawford alike on purpose (note: Bo dressed himself) but I think they look adorable!
The trusted drivers!
And we love retrieving balls from the bunker. She kept saying she was at the beach
It was H-O-T – so we finally convinced the kids to hit the pool.
Con was the evil Queen with the swim ring on her head
This is why you love FCC. We saw a ton of people and despite the fact that the sign said they closed the pool at 7 – we were swimming till 8:30!!!! Looking forward to many more Friday golf/swim nights!
