Take me out!

We woke up to a much improved Crawford this morning. Conlee was in her "chair" and he wanted his. They sat like this for a while.
It was a big day around our house. We went to the Razorback baseball game yesterday afternoon. It was Conlee's first trip out of the house since the hospital (aside from Sue-Sue's and Amanda's - she's hasn't been anywhere else). Bo and I were both so excited to put her in her cheerleading uniform and show her off!

I'm that mom - so excited to dress up my little girl and take her out and about.

Bo was pretty jazzed too.

I didn't have a bow to really match. I'll have to work on that. How cute are the diaper covers??? Crawford would call the hogs and she would bounce like crazy.
Ready to go.
No matter how hard we try - we can't seem to get a good pic of me with the kids.

Crawford's appetite was back - 2 bags of popcorn and peanut M&M's. I'm sure that was good for him.
Future boyfriend and girlfriend. Can you believe that William is only 5 weeks older than Conlee? They are on opposite ends of the growth chart.
Jon and Bo with their kiddos. Hard to believe that 2 years ago we didn't have these kids in our lives! My how quickly things change!!!

Crawford loved seeing the mascot (Porkchop or Ribi- I can't remember). He gave him a kiss on the snout.
Sippycups in the cup holders - makes me laugh.
I'm not sure we were out of the parking lot.

Rebound

Friday afternoon around 4:00 - Crawford rebounded. We headed out to enjoy the gorgeous day.
I had to run inside for a second and I asked Crawford to go sit with Conlee. He is so literal these days - this is exactly how I found them.
Both kids were worn out after playing so hard.

I love the warm weather and can't wait until we basically live outside.

Stomach Bug - yuck!

So, I found a work-around to my problem (folders still not being created in the gallery - I hate it). So here are some pics from yesterday. I was hoping to have lots of fun pics from us at the park today - but as you'll see at the end of this post - Crawford has a stomach bug!

Crawford loves school (which is why I am upset that more than likely we are going to take him out to stay home with me and Con) but every day before he leaves he has to, "See Conkey. Kiss Conkey. Say bye-bye Conkey." It gets me every time! (Yes they are both on the kitchen table!)

This was, "Daddy kiss Conkey."

It was very windy yesterday, but I decided to bundle Conlee up and walk around the block. She spit her paci out right as we started and just laughed and talked.

This was what I was dealing with on lap 3 - out like a light.

When Bo and Crawford got home - we all headed outside to play. On my way out the door I heard Bo yelling. He was in the garage with Crawford who was covered in vomit. That's right - vomit! 2 huge piles on the front walk and all over him. He acted fine so we changed him and headed back out hoping for the best.

How cute is this? Hate that she's in the cheap, ugly bouncy - but it's so light and portable that it's my fave!
Crawford acted fine - he played on the tractor, played golf, played in the sand, picked flowers, but that wasn't the end of it.

Wrigley is still loving him some Conlee - so sweet.

About 5 seconds after this pic was taken - I smelled something and it was so bad that it just couldn't have been Crawford, but oh how wrong I was. 4 more of those diapers and we put him to bed. Thankfully he slept until 6:30 this morning.

But, I knew it wasn't going to be good when he woke up and didn't ask to "Eat! Eat!"
We skipped the gym because he had another nasty diaper (I could have cried). He acted like he felt so-so, but at 9:30 this morning - this is where I found him - snoring.

He got up for about 45 minutes and then asked to go take a nap. As of this post - he's been asleep for a total of 5 1/2 hours today. My little guy doesn't feel good. We were going to the park this afternoon and baseball game tonight - but right now not feeling like this is gonna happen. I'll keep you posted.

Technical Difficulties

So I am very challenged when it comes to computers. I can work almost any program - but when it comes to bytes and drives I am lost. Court's brother Josh helped me get my back-up drive fixed, but now I can't find any of my recently imported pics. Hope to get this fixed soon and post all the cute outside pics!!!

Happy Birthday Sue-Sue!

We love you and hope you had a great day!
Crawford was very excited to take Sue-Sue her birthday present this morning.
Sue said the best present she got was Crawford saying, "Happy Birthday" and hugging her neck.
Sue-Sue - we love you!!!!

Personal Trainer

For the days when Bo and I can't get to the gym, Crawford makes sure we get our workout in. His favorite thing these days is doing push-ups and sit-ups. He will do them by himself and then he'll look at us and say, "Momma do it. Daddy do it." He makes us do them and asks for more, more, more. Then he wants to climb on board to add some weight!

Trucks, Cranes and Mack - what an afternoon!

Crawford had a BIG afternoon yesterday. While he was napping, Bo went and bought him a "Mack" tunnel that we'd seen in the Sunday paper. My kid is obsessed with Mack and almost passed out when he woke up from his nap and I told him he had a special friend visiting. He said "woooo" and immediately started climbing and playing.
Nice bed head. The static electricity from Mack doesn't help :)

I can't take my eyes off of Lightning long enough to look at the camera. Notice his Lightning car beside him. He kept parking it in Mack.
While we were playing I heard a noise out front - the City was picking up the trees from the ice storm. Crawford was so excited. We were outside for 30 minutes watching them. A big thank you to the City for our "free" entertainment.

Crawford looked at the workers in their vests and hard hats as if they were rock stars!

To top it off, he got to have mom and dad's left overs from Dinner Dash for diner. Anyone who lives in the area must try this place. Bo and I ate for $22 on Saturday night and it was delish and a lot of food!

Double Digits!

That's right - Conlee weighed in at 10 pounds and a 1/2 ounce today!
How sweet are those blue eyes?
