A Birthday Trip
As if 2 celebrations weren’t already enough. We officially made February Crawford’s Birthmonth (forget just the day). We headed to the farm.
His special request – a trip back to the Pink Palace. I love that I grew up going here and now my kids love it.
His special request – the Imax for the space movie – Hubble. It was so good!
The rest of the time – we just hung out on the farm. We had gorgeous weather.
The best part – flying kites.
We even took Crawford to see the “train” room for the first time. He was in awe.
The view Bo and I had as we took a sunset 4-wheeler drive. Now that I live in the “hills” I am still amazed by the flat land.
Babe had a special request. She collects bird houses and wanted the kids to paint one for her. They had so much fun.
I’m sad to say that I’m sorry the birthmonth is over!

Spiderman Party
Crawford’s special day got even better when Cole dropped by to give him a gift. It’s the best. Action figures (like army men) but it’s a baseball game. He’s in heaven!
Crawford really wanted a Batman party – but since this was a “small” family party – we had to go Spiderman when Party City was all out of Batman stuff. It went over pretty well. I made his shirt by stealing an image of the internet and using an iron on transfer. He loved it.
Sue-Sue can’t stand for Con to be left out. Rain boots and umbrellas for both of them.
So we might have gotten a wee bit out of control with the presents?!?!
His FAVORITE – the $9 set of “real” baseball plates. He immediately set up a field.
After everyone left – we still had one special gift for him. A REAL set of golf clubs. If I wanted this to be a special day – I think Mission Complete! Happy 4th Birthday Crawford – your Daddy and I love you more than you could ever know!
Happy 4th Birthday Crawford!
If you didn’t already have this figured out – birthdays are a BIG deal around here. While Crawford already had his “friend” party with Cole – I wasn’t going to let his “real” day be a disappointment!
Waking up to balloons, presents and puffy waffles with candles – a pretty good start.
Then Chuck E’s for lunch. And a “surprise” visit from J-J, Sue-Sue and Daddy!
The King looks pretty happy – don’t you think? Now on to nap time and then his Spiderman “family” birthday.

Loving this Weather
We all have a touch of spring fever. We loaded up and hit Wilson Park. Crawford LOVES baseball…can you tell who his favorite team is?
Bo makes fun of me – but I love being the mom that is always prepared. Sand toys – check. Extra shovels for friends – check. Snacks – check. Extra balls and gloves – check. So yes it might take a small army to transport all of the stuff that I haul to the park – but that’s just who I am!
Benefit to small kids that are less than 2 years apart – they can go down the slide together :) Seriously – they are the BEST of friends. I couldn’t have dreamed of a better life.
