Princess Car

I picked the kids up at noon today and had the BEST afternoon. While they got a nap, mom and I assembled Conlee's car. Babe and Pops got her a Princess car for her birthday present. It's so cool because it's motorized. While she is small a parent "drives" it with the handle. When she's older, the handle comes off and she drives by herself.

Crawford couldn't wait to tell Conlee she had to "share" her new car. He thought it was really cool.
A 1st birthday wouldn't be complete without Cole's roller-coaster. We put it together after nap time and Crawford and Conlee road it all afternoon and evening.

Of course Conlee will have what I hope turns out to be a "fabulous" cake for her birthday party - she had to have a little cake for her real birthday.

Needless to say, Crawford liked it too.

This has honestly been one of the fastest years of my life. My baby is 1 - I can't believe it! I love everything about her and she truly completes our family. The party is on Sunday and I've got lots more to do to get ready!

Happy Birthday Conlee!

I can't believe it's really here - it's Conlee's birthday today!!!! Of course, she had to have a breakfast "treat" - a muffing top from ABC. Crawford was so sweet and so funny. He sang Happy Birthday at the top of his lungs. Adorable.

The breakfast was a big hit. Crawford was excited they got to "share."
She had to open a present before school. She got the chair Crawford "gave" her (it's really from Sue-Sue and J-J). It was Crawford's but he got a "big" boy one - so he gifted his to her. She was so excited.

Crawford had to go get his chair. He tried to "switch" at one point and Bo and I swear - Conlee said, "MY CHAIR!!!!"
I took a 1/2 day at work so I can pick her up from school and have some 1:1 time. She of course had to wear her birthday outfit (sans party tu-tu). For some reason I could not get a smile out of her? She really did love it.
Oh how I love this little girl. Can't wait to spend the afternoon with her!

Happy Birthday Hudson!

This afternoon we helped Hudson celebrate his 3rd birthday with an amazing party at the Little Gym. I'd never been before - and trust me - this was the way to go. Super Hero capes and tons of room to jump and play - it was great. Conlee and Crawford both had a blast. Below are the gazillion pics I took.

Pep Rally - at the mall?

When Bo got in from work, we packed up the crew and headed to the NWA Mall for the pep rally! It was Conlee's first time to "really" see the mascots. Both she and Crawford were so excited when right when we walked in - we saw Sooie! But, that changed oh so quickly. Sooie decided to "touch" Conlee and she "lost" it. I mean - screaming out loud. Crawford has never skipped a beat with "dress up" characters (loved Santa, Easter Bunny, Razorbacks, Chuck E Cheese). But, looks like I need to start prepping Conlee for Santa - NOW!

It was so bad - that I didn't even get 1 good picture. Conlee was fine being around the mascots - apparently touching is where she draws the line. All-and-all - it was great family fun and I'm glad we took the kids. Looking forward to tomorrow. We've got a sitter and are leaving for the game at 10:00 am. Go HOGS!!!!

Birthday Week!

I can't believe that Conlee will be 1 in less than a week! I am such a sucker and had to go ahead and give her one of her presents. Hey - you're only 1 once - so I say celebrate all week. Wait, I'm 33 and still have that philosophy!!!!Do I even need to say that it was a hit?

Basketball - already?

Bo and Crawford headed out to Bud Walton tonight to watch the Razorbacks play basketball. I can't believe it's that time of year already. Football isn't even over! Bo said Crawford was so good. He told me his favorite part was the popcorn - of course.

What? Do I have something on my head?

Conlee is so into "mimicking" that she trys to put on her socks and shoes, brush her hair, and obviously - put on a hat!
