It’s getting warm, time’s about to change, flowers are beginning to bloom – it’s spring time! We are so lucky in NWA, we truly get all 4 seasons. Today you could literally feel that spring is almost here. We started by getting Crawford a much needed hair cut. He was such the little man. While I visited, he just sat in the chair and chatted with Crystal.
Next stop was a visit to show Sue-Sue and Lu-Lu his new baseball gear. Lu-Lu got out of the hospital and is staying at Sue-Sue’s. She so badly wants to be at her own house, but it’s for the best that she stay with Sue. It’s also great because we get the chance to see her so much more!
Lunch was a “special” treat – Chick-fill-A. So, what’ special about that? The fact that we got to go to the one with the outdoor playground! It’s always so funny to watch the kids make new “friends.” When we left kids were hugging them and saying bye-bye.
Crawford some exciting news after nap time. Bo called and told him to pack a bag – they were going to Greasy Creek to spend the night with Cole and Kyle. So we did the mad dash to pack everything and then we played outside while we waited on Bo to pick him up.
I’ve been curious to know if he still had his “swing” (he hasn’t asked about golf in a while). Well, he’s still got it and some. He hits it, smiles and says – I smoked it! Conlee on the other hand – just likes to carry the club around and steal the ball off of the tee!
Amanda and I are going to leave bright and early to join the guys at Greasy Creak. Tonight, Matt came over and helped me cook up a yummy breakfast that we are going to take to the guys. Nothing like gourmet treats in the woods!
