So, Crawford might not eat much - but it's safe to say that breakfast is his FAVORITE meal of the day. Every morning when we go in to get him up, he starts screaming EAT! EAT! You must feed the kid immediately. This morning we had oatmeal and puffins (aka muffins).
He literally said, "YUMMY!" and licked it off of his fingers.
Yes - the amount of oatmeal on the spoon is how much he puts in his mouth. So the "mess" is not because he can't use the spoon - it's because he insists on ginormous bites.
So much on the spoon, that he uses the other hand to help "shovel" it in.
SIDE NOTE: for some reason breakfast is the only meal that he still eats in his high chair. For lunch and dinner he tells me, "Crawcord eat bar." To let me know he wants us to sit at the bar with him and eat. But, for breakfast he goes and drags his highchair out. Go figure?
