We completely split up the sexes today. Boys hit the farm; girls went shopping in Jonesboro. It was a perfect arrangement!
The girls hit the road early and were in J-town by 9:00. The best stop – Kiddlytoes (aka – Conlee’s paradise!). Babe got Conlee 3 new pairs of shoes for her birthday!
The boys started with a trip to John Deere (aka – Crawford’s paradise!).
They then hit the farm for some real action!
Babe couldn’t take the stress of the Razorback game (I mean with the bad calls – who could?) so she bailed and took the kids to the library. Crawford told me that he likes our library at home, but Babe’s is super fun!
While we’re at Twist – Crawford always wants to be farming. He even thinks the lawnmower is a tractor!
We had a seafood feast for dinner – sautéed scallops for a starter and Elfo special for the main course (for those from Memphis – it’s a Grisanti’s special). I couldn’t have dreamed up a more perfect day.
