We were so lucky to have visitors at Twist! Megan, Joe, Gracie, Holt and Stella Rose came over from Jonesboro on Friday afternoon. We rode 4-wheelers and enjoyed the beautiful afternoon!
Gracie wanted the kids to play a game. I was pretty amazed that she convinced all 4 of them to play along.
Gracie explaining the rules…
Gracie getting a head start…
Gracie leading the kids all through the yard…!
We ventured into Earl to visit the “big tree.” Dad’s been telling me about this for years but I’ve never seen it. We all kind of chuckled. Turns out it is one big tree. It’s the 2nd largest tree in the state of Arkansas. The kids had so much fun!
They literally ran, jumped, danced and played in the leaves.
It took all 9 of us to ring the tree!
We were blessed with amazingly beautiful weather. Check out the sunset as we headed to Crawfordsville.
The one and only place where you can take 12 people (with 5 of those being kids) and have an amazing time and great food – Uncle John’s! If you’ve never been – you HAVE to go. People drive over from Memphis to eat here. It was such an amazing, fun time! Love the pic of Conlee and Stella watching Mickey Mouse on Megan’s iPhone. Conlee had no idea a phone could do that :)
Thanks to the Spades for making the drive over. We had so much fun and feel so blessed to have such amazing friends. You guys really are like part of our family!
